Chiara Scodella

Chiara began her martial arts journey at the young age of 4 and has since grown into a formidable competitor and instructor. She earned 2 gold medals in the inaugural Arnold Classic, showcasing her talent early on. As the Wittle Warriors Instructor, she guides younger students with the same passion that fuels her own training.

Chiara's competitive career spans across NSW, Canberra, and Queensland. Notable achievements include securing 2nd place in the IKA Nationals 2015 in Canberra and another 2nd place in the NSW Karate Championships Ultimate Challenge.

In 2023, Chiara made her debut in full-contact fighting, claiming victory in her first bout. She continued her success by winning the 2024 AFKO South Pacific Female Full Contact division for 13 to 15-year-olds and runner up to her sister Serena in the Non contact division. Additionally, she became the Victorian Non-Contact Karate Under 16 Champion and was the runner-up in the Victorian KATA Championships Junior Under 16, 6th Kyu and above, in the same year.

Chiara was recognized as the Senior Kyokushin Karate Student of the Year in 2023. Her dedication to training is driven by a desire to improve her fitness, acquire new skills, and ultimately achieve her goal of becoming a black belt.
